Bacon Mac & Cheese Recipe

The ooey-goey cheesiness of macaroni and cheese taken to the next level by adding bacon! This bacon Bacon Mac & Cheese recipe is sure to be a new family favorite.

  • 6 slices OSCAR MAYER Naturally Hardwood Smoked Bacon
  • 1 box elbow macaroni 16 ounces
  • 1 bag KRAFT Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese 16 ounces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup milk


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Line baking sheet with foil. Place a cooling rack on baking sheet and lay bacon strips across the cooling rack to cook. This method gets the bacon extra crispy.

  3. Bake for 20 minutes until brown and crispy.

  4. While bacon is cooking, bring a large pot of water to a boil.

  5. Add elbow macaroni and cook for 9-12 minutes until soft.

  6. Strain water and immediately add cheese, butter and milk to the hot noodles. Stir until well combined.

  7. When bacon is done, chop into bits and mix three-fourths of bacon bits into mac and cheese.

  8. Sprinkle remaining bits on top of mac and cheese as garnish to serve.
