Here comes Peter Cottontail… Wait, that’s not Peter Cottontail, those are my kids in their adorable Paper Plate Easter Bunny Ears. It’s nearly Easter, but there is still time to make this last-minute project with your kiddos.

Easter Bunny Ears Craft
My girls couldn’t have been happier when I announced that I had a special snack and a craft project for them after school. They couldn’t wait to see what I had planned.

Paper Plate Easter Bunny Ears

Materials:

  • White paper dinner plate
  • Scissors
  • Pink paint or marker

To make the paper plate bunny ears, start by folding a white paper dinner plate in half. Lightly sketch a bunny ear on half of the plate with a pencil. (Do it lightly so you can erase your pencil lines if needed.) Cut out the bunny ear shape, unfold the plate and fold up the ears.

Originally, I planned to use a pink marker for the bunny ears. But my daughters love to paint anything, so we used pink paint for the insides of the bunny ears.

While my girls were painting their ears, I decided my bunnies needed pink noses. So I grabbed a few more supplies:

  • Popsicle stick
  • White pipe cleaners
  • Pink pom-pom
  • Glue

After cutting the pipe cleaners in half, the girls glued three pipe cleaners and a pom-pom to the top of a popsicle stick.

TruMoo Chocolate Strawberry Ice Pops

After all that crafting (10 minutes worth), it was time for the special snack I promised. I was met with shrieks of joy when I presented a pair of chocolate strawberry ice pops.

My girls were so excited, they kept giggling about having ice cream before dinner. But they weren’t eating ice cream — they were eating frozen TruMoo Chocolate Milk! And TruMoo has no artificial growth hormones, no high fructose corn syrup and is fresh from your trusted dairy, which makes these TruMoo chocolate strawberry ice pops a great way to sneak in an extra serving of milk.

Plus to make this snack even healthier, I added fresh strawberries. Yup, just two ingredients – TruMoo and strawberries. Chocolate and strawberries – yum!!! TruMoo also makes Chocolate Marshmallow flavor, which sounds like another yummy idea for an ice pop. Finding the right balance between happy and healthy is never easy. That’s why there’s TruMoo.
