This post brought to you by LEGO. All opinions are 100% mine.
Some people can create anything with LEGOs. (Not me, but some people.) A trip to the LEGO store always amazes me, and LEGOLAND — blew my mind. I can barely build a simple model with directions, let alone design a whole city.
But I can design my own LEGO family with the help of LEGO’s new web app anyone can build a Minifamily, regardless of building skill level. It’s easy, plus it’s fun.
With the ability to totally customize your family’s skin tone, facial expressions, hair style and clothing you can make your family look cute and festive (like mine) or crazy and wacky. Then you can send your digital holiday card to others by email or share on Facebook, Twitter or even Pinterest.
After designing my own LEGO Minifamily, I decided that it would be a fun thing to do with my daughter. She will get a kick out of designing the family, I have a feeling at least one of us will have pink hair.

To make your Minifamily visit the LEGO Minifigure Family website and start customizing your family. You can add up to 13 family members, including cats and dogs. After you name your character and pick all of the perfect accessories, choose the perfect scene for your Minifamily photo. Dreaming of a white Christmas, put your family at the North Pole. Need a tropical breeze, how about the beach? There are even living room scenes with Hanukkah and Kwanza decorations.
After you share your LEGO Minifamily to family and friends, start all over and design another family. The best part is that there is nothing to download and nothing to sign into, so visit LEGO Minifigure Family website and have fun designing your special card.
This is my LEGO Minifamily. Aren’t we cute? What will you design?
