Every Christmas there is some hot toy that sells out everywhere because every child decides they have to have it under the Christmas tree. Parents wait in long lines, search every store in town and some even overpay for limited stock. Two years ago, the hot toy was the LeapPad. I was smart lucky, I bought one in the fall when they first came out — I knew it would be prefect for my daughter (and I was right). While friend searched high and low, and people sold them for well-over retail value on eBay, I hat one in my closet ready for Christmas morning.
I am not sure yet what the hot toy for 2013 will be yet. (Although I have my eye out.) But I do know that the new LeapPad Ultra looks pretty darn cool. And last week, LeapFrog opened up the new kid-friendly tablet for pre-order.
So if you think the LeapPad Ultra might end up on your kiddo’s wish list this year, you might be wise to to pre-order it. (Note, this toy is so hot the pre-order from LeapFrog is already sold out! But it is still available from retailers, check out the list of retailers where you can pre-order the LeapPad Ultra.
