I don’t know about my first Frosty, but I do remember a Frosty tradition.
Growing up, we spent a lot of weekends at the beach — a lot. And the drive to the beach was about two hours. At the half way point, there is a Wendy’s. We would leave the house as soon as dad came home from work, and stop at Wendy’s about an hour into the drive. My dinner order was always the same, a baked potato with cheese and bacon with a frosty.
Now I know this part grosses some people out, but I like to eat my potato with my Frosty. As in same bite. Weird, I know, but I have been doing it since I was a kid. That’s my first Frosty memory.
This Father’s Day weekend, I am helping to spread the word about Wendy’s #FirstFrost campaign. Wendy’s wants to hear your first Frosty memory. For each story, image or video shared on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #FirstFrosty, Wendy’s will donate $ 1 to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, up to $50,000.
Pretty easy way to support a good cause, right?
In addition, for every Frosty sold June 15-16 Wendy’s will donate $.50 to the DTFA. Every Frosty counts, so this might be a perfect time to try the new Frosty Waffle Cone.
Alright, here’s the picture to get you drooling…
Who wants a Frosty now???
