Proctor and Gamble Shoppers already know to reply on the brandSaver coupon insert that appears monthly in the Sunday insert. But do you also know that you can use those coupons at Dollar General for even more savings? While I am normally very good about using coupons to maximize savings on sale items (with the occasional annoying habit of leaving my stack of coupons on the kitchen counter), I tend to forget that Dollar General accepts manufacture coupons too.
Dollar General carries tons of P&G brands including Tide, CoverGirl, Old Spice, Pampers, Charmin, Bounty and more (all of which we use in our house). The most recent brandSaver (from Sunday, August 26) includes more than $135 of savings on P&G brands including BOGO Gillette Razors, $1.50 off Duracell, $1 off Febreeze, $1 off two Pantene and many more products you can find at Dollar General. These coupons are good through September 30 so if you accidentally put the insert in the recycle bin, make sure you get it out before recycling day so you can take advantage of the savings.
With the brandSaver coupons in hand, you’ll save even more by combining the coupon savings with Dollar General’s every day low prices. You can even check online to see how munch you can save on P&G brands at Dollar General.
Of course, while I am in the store I am likely to find a few other things on my list that have to come home with me too. But at least I know I am getting a deal on the things I need while I shop for a few fun things too!
When stocking up on your P&G favorite brands, how much will you save at Dollar General by using coupons?
