Macy’s Fall Impulse Collection – $50 Giveaway

Fall officially arrives in Florida in October, when we get a hint of a crisp breeze and a chill in the air, at least for a day or two. With the arrival of fall, it is time to start thinking about swapping flip flops for boots and shorts for jeans. (That’s pretty much my uniform in the fall; jeans, boots and an embellished tee.) Macy’s Fall Impulse collection has arrived, and best of all, Macy’s has already done the legwork for you by publishing the highly anticipated HOT LIST. Essentially a cheat sheet of the season’s must-have looks, featuring many of today’s top labels. Here are some of my fav pics from the hot list.

I already mentioned that I am a jeans kind of girl, and I totally dig the dark wash skinny jeans like the “slim jean.”

Staple in a suburban mom’s wardrobe number two, the embellished tee. (Seriously, my closet is full of this look.) The beauty is in the unexpected details.

Since my third must-have fall item is boots, you have to have cool socks to wear with your boots. Check out these over the knee socks.

Finally, if you are lucky enough to have a special occasion for a fancy dress, you have to go with something that shimmers. The shimmer makes you feel even more glam.

    The Bubble Talk Game is on my list – my son is 5 and we need some new games for family game night – I have a baby due Monday, so this would give us some mommy/big brother bonding time too!!

    I checked out Macy’s Holiday gift guide and one item that is on my list is a Roku streaming player…not only do I want one but my son is driving me crazy about buying it for months now!
