Mission Menus Challenge

In our house, Tuesday night is Taco Night. Yum! Sometimes chicken, sometimes beef, always with Mission Flour Tortillas. Mission has a selection of small, medium and large tortillas and are just plain yum. There are always too many in the package for us to eat in one sitting, so that means I have leftover tortillas to make quesadillas for lunch later. (Hint – reseal them and put them in the fridge so they keep better.)
Since the discovery of my yeast allergy last October, I use tortillas for everything. One of my fav “recipes’ is peanut butter, with slices of bananas, granola and honey, lightly toasted. Sprinkling in a few chocolate chips is nice too!
There are so many ways to use tortillas. If you have an awesome recipe that includes tortillas, you are in luck. Mission Foods is kicking off the summer with the Mission Menus Challenge. To enter, submit your favorite budget-friendly recipe for a chance to compete in a cook-off in Los Angeles and win a $10,000 dream kitchen makeover as well as a host of weekly prizes. Food Should Taste Good Tortilla Chips Review & Giveaway (2 Winners)
Hello Tortilla Chips!
We eat lots of snacks around here, so when we say a snack is good, we know what we are talking about. (Because there are some lousy snack chips out there!) So, what do you get when you combine a yummy snack with all natural ingredients? Well, Food Should Taste Good – duh.
Food Should Taste Good chips are made from all-natural ingredients, and they are gluten free, cholesterol free, trans fat free and do not use genetically modified ingredients (GMOs). They are also certified Kosher, lower in sodium, and are a good source of dietary fiber. PLUS they are available in 13 flavors: Multigrain, Sweet Potato, Olive, Jalapeño, The Works!, Buffalo, Chocolate, Potato & Chive, Cinnamon, Lime, Yellow Corn, Blue Corn and Cheddar.
We received a whole case of chips to try. We enlisted friends and family to try the chips – thus far we have managed to knock back the Sweet Potato, Multigrain, Chocolate, The Works and Blue Corn. They have all been yummy – friends and family agreed. So many tasted yummy, but I was most excited to try Chocolate, yummers. I am happy to report, it actually tasted like chocolate. I mean, it was definitely a tortilla chip, not a cookie, but it tasted like chocolate. But my fav flavor so far, Sweet Potato – YUM. And it is really good with salsa!
Buy it — I haven’t seen these in our Publix yet, but I did see snack size bags at Starbucks. You can find a list of stores near you that carry these chips or buy them online.
