Disney Movie Vault
It’s that time again, three Disney classics are headed back into the Disney Vault at the end of the month. If you don’t yet have these movies in your collection, you might want to pick them up before the end of the month. Come May 2011, you won’t be able to buy them or rent them anywhere. So now’s the time.
Headed into the Disney Vault this month – Pinocchio, Snow White and Fantasia.
Right now you can pick up all three on Amazon, Pinocchio ($14.99), Snow White ($17.99) and Fantasia ($18.49).
BOGO Disney Movies at Toys R Us
I just got home from Toys R Us where I picked up tons of Disney DVDs on BOGO (through Saturday). I can’t decide if I should thank my friend Laura for the great tip, or curse her our because I bought so many. LOL. As my mom said, “Sometimes it is expensive saving money!”
Among the DVDs available for BOGO
- The Princess and The Frog
- Up
- Rataouille
- WallE
- Ponyo
- Hannah Montana
- Jungle Book
- Sleeping Beauty
- Finding Nemo
- Cars
- Oliver & Company
- and many more
Most of these are $19.99, so for $19.99 you can get two movies – $10 Disney movies, that’s a deal!
They also had movies for mom and dad too, including New Moon. (I didn’t pay much attention to these, so I don’t remember what all they had.)
Happy Movie Shopping!
Free Disney Movie Rewards Points

Disney Movie Rewards
I have always been a Disney girl – I love all things Disney! But somehow, I missed out on utilizing Disney Movie Rewards until recently. (Which is really silly as many Disney movies as I have owned and as much as I love free stuff!)
About a month ago, I rectified this and signed up for a Disney Movie Rewards account. Lucky for me, I still had the Movie Reward codes in some of the Disney DVDs we own so I was able to put several codes directly into my account.
In addition to the codes you can find in all Disney Movies, you can also find free codes from time to time. (Apparently, there were a lot in December, but I missed all of those.)
If you don’t yet have an account, I recommend signing up for one – it is free! Some of the items are kind of silly – movie posters and such. But I am saving up for a Mickey and Pals DVD – something I was planning to buy anyway. It is only 750 points, and I currently have 625! (If you really don’t want to sign up but you have some movies with codes, feel free to send them my way!!!)
Here is a code for 50 points to get you started – CELEBRATE exp 1/31/10.
