Buy The Lion King & Lady And The Tramp Before They Return To The Vault 4/30

If you have been putting off getting your copy of Disney’s The Lion King or Lady and the Tramp, time is up. After April 30, 2013, both movies will return to the Disney Vault. What does that mean? That means they will be unavailable for sale until Disney decides to re-release them at some time in the future.

Disney Movies Returning to the Vault April 30, 2013

Deal alert - Amazon is offering $8 off the purchase of any one these titles and another listed Disney title (including Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and the Secret of the Wings, Winnie the Pooh and more).

All titles are still available, but they won’t be around long. Order your copy now, so you don’t miss out on owning these classics. (BTW, yes I own all five movies!)

Peter Pan Soars On To Blu-Ray + Free Printables

Second star to the right and straight on to Blu-Ray. Peter Pan, the boy who won’t grow up, and his band of lost boys are celebrating 60 years of being a kid.

Walt Disney Peter Pan

Enchanting mermaids, brave Indians and, of course, the notorious Captain Hook are waiting in Neverland to share their adventures with a whole new generation of kids. It’s Disney classics like Peter Pan that bring out the kid in all of us. (Not to mention that this is the movie that first introduced us all to that spunky little pixie Tinker Bell!)

Here are a few lessons Peter Pan and fellow Disney pals have taught us about how to stay young forever.

Peter Pan will be released from the vault February 5, 2013 on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital copy some 60 years after Peter Pan taught us all to stay young forever. The digitally remastered movie includes a Storybook App (with coloring pages, puzzles, music, memory games and more), Disney Intermission, an introduction by Diane Disney Miller, never before seen deleted scenes, an alternate ending, deleted songs and a special feature called Growing Up with Nine Old Men.

If Peter Pan is missing from your movie collection, now is the time to bring the Lost Boys home. Pre-orders are now available on Amazon. If you plan to pick up a copy in store, save $5 on a Blu-Ray combo pack with this printable coupon.

A copy of the movie was provided to facilitate this post, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

2013 Walt Disney Pictures Pixar DVD/Blu-Ray Movie Releases & Re-releases

In 2012, we added tons of awesome Disney movies like Brave, Tinkerbell: Secret of The Wings, Cinderella (1, 2 and 3), Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3Santa Pups, The Great Mouse Detective, Treasure Buddies and so many more to our home movie collection. It was a big movie year. It was also a big year for theater releases, which means some great DVD/Blu-Ray releases coming for 2013.

Here is a look at the list of Disney movies to be release and re-released in 2013. NOTE – Disney has not announced all of its releases for 2013 yet, I will continue to update this list as new releases are announced.

2013 Disney Movie Releases

2012 was a big year for Disney movies with the release of Lincoln (amazing), Wreck-It Ralph (clever), Chimpanzee (breathtaking), The Avengers (action-packed) and more. (BTW – if you missed any of those movies, I highly recommend them all!) Can Disney top last year? The Mouse is certainly going to try, and with a powerful line up of familiar characters including OZ, Iron Man and Monsters 2013 is shaping up to be another big year. Plus I can’t wait for Frozen – I saw some preview images while in LA – stunning!

So here is what you can expect from Disney in 2013. Which one is a must see for your family? I fully expect to see everyone on this list in the theaters!
