This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Playtex BabyTM. Before my oldest was born, I had a complete freak out moment trying to decide what bottles and nipples to buy for her. I was certain my baby was going to starve if I didn’t buy the right bottle/nipple combo. Dramatic? Yes, […]
My dogs are just about the cutest dogs ever. (And I am 100% biased!) But those cute little faces make stinky messes. They are getting older, 12 and 11 years old, and they have occasional accidents. Unfortunately for me, their bathroom of choice is my office. Ick! I recently discovered a natural pet odor remover and I am excited to share my Skout’s Honor review.

When I was a girl, my favorite Barbies were my Peaches ‘N Cream Barbie and my 1989 Holiday Barbie. They were beautiful in their stunning gowns, and they were my pride and joy. But while I played with my Peaches ‘N Cream Barbie regularly, my 1989 Holiday Barbie held a special place of honor – sealed in her box on the shelf. To this day my husband teases me about my Barbie who remained in the box, but I loved her just so and each year I looked forward to bringing her out and placing her on the shelf with my other Christmas decorations.
Meals are hard, it seems like snacks should be easy, but they aren’t. With so many choices, snacks can be just as overwhelming as meals. Plus so many snacks lack the wholesome ingredients that I want my kids to eat. It may be “just a snack,” but I want it to benefit their bodies too. But there are some easy things you can do to help kids snack better.
I admit, I am one of those people who forgets to eat lunch — often. I just get so wrapped up in what I am doing, I don’t think about it. Mornings are my work time, and suddenly it’s time to pick up my daughter from school. Then from the moment I pick her up, it’s go, go, go — the afternoon has begun. And at some point, I realize I am hungry. Not just hungry but REALY hungry. And now that I am pregnant, oh boy am I hungry and lightheaded.

It’s that time of year when parents take a look at their kids closet and realize, “My child grew 2 inches since they wore these clothes. Nothing fits!” That’s right, it’s time to go back to school clothing shopping. And if your child is anything like mine, they have some pretty distinct opinions of what they will and will not wear.
