First, the movie.

Winnie the Pooh’s Easter story, Springtime with Roo, is now available on Blu-Ray and Digital. Featuring all of the classic Winnie the Pooh characters this 2004 release that has just returned from the vault to appear on Blu-Ray for the first time. I received a copy to enjoy with my family, and although we didn’t wait till Easter to watch it it would be have been a great gift from the Easter Bunny.

In the movie it looks like poor Roo won’t be able to celebrate Easter with his friends because Rabbit has decided he no long wants to celebrate as the Easter Bunny. Instead he makes up a new holiday around his favorite thing to do — cleaning. Not quite what the friends had in mind.

My girls and I watched Winnie The Pooh: Springtime With Roo over spring break, and it was a great way to get ready for the Easter season. Of course, everyone’s favorite part was win Rabbit remembered how much he really likes Easter and gets back into the Easter spirit becoming the Hundred Acre Wood’s very own Easter Bunny.

After enjoying the movie, my girls went on a Winnie the Pooh binge watching all of our Winnie the Pooh movies. That lead me to a search for some crafts that both my toddler and my kindergartener could enjoy.

About Disney’s Winnie The Pooh: Springtime With Roo:

Each year, Rabbit plays Easter Bunny, but this year, he’s decided it’s “Spring Cleaning Day,” and he orders everyone to hop to it: scrubbing, dusting, and mopping. All his pals are disappointed – especially little Roo – until Rabbit learns that putting others first and showing friends how much you care turns every day into a precious gift. Sparkling with unforgettable songs and a never-before-seen bonus treat, this delightful “egg-stravaganza” shows why love, hope and friendship are always in full bloom in the Hundred Acre Wood!

Winnie The Pooh: Springtime With Roo is now available on Blu-Ray/Digital copy, and it would make an egg-cellent addition to any Easter Basket.

Happy Spring

  1. I love all of these ideas. Disney Winnie the Pooh has always been one of my favorite characters. In fact my youngest loves Tigger.
