It’s time to bring those lovable, not-so-scary monsters home. Monsters, Inc Is Now Available In 3D On Blu-Ray and DVD. And if you liked the move in 2D, you are going to love it in 3D.
If you thought Monsters Inc. was a scream before, wait till you see it in 3D.
In case you don’t know the story… There is this other world where monsters live, and in order to power their town (Monstropolis) they must collect the screams of frighten children. To do so, they have a “Scream Factory” where they keep closet doors that act like a portal into the bedroom of small children. In other words, they are the monsters in the closet.
But Monstropolis is in crisis, it can’t collect enough screams to keep the town running. But there is a force that is even more powerful than a scream — a child’s laughter.
On the way to discovering the truth about the Scream Factory and the power of laughter the top “screamers,” Sulley and Mike, meet a little girl they call Boo. Even though they are afraid of her (they’ve been told kids are evil), they fall for this cute tot and she leads them on adventure to get her back to her bedroom.
That’s an overly simplified explanation of the film, but really if you haven’t seen it yet, all you need to know is that you need to see it (preferably in 3D, of course).
In addition to the film you will also find the following fabulous bonus features included:
- “Monsters University” Sneak Peek
- Toy Story Toons: “Partysaurus Rex”
- “For The Birds” Short
- “Mike’s New Car” Short
- Filmmakers Round Table
- Audio Commentary
- Roz’s 100 Door Challenge Game
- Pixar Fun Factory Tower
- Banished Concepts
