Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups Review, Activity Sheets & Free Plush

Gather the kiddos, heat up some hot coco and settle in to meet Santa’s newest talking pups. Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups (the sequel to The Search for Santa Pawsfollows four adorable pups as they get into all kinds of mischief and nearly ruin Christmas. But this story comes with a happy ending, as well as a lesson about being careful what you wish for, as the pups team up with kids to save Christmas.

The North Pole has a new litter of playful pups! However, when the frisky foursome—Hope, Jingle, Charity and Noble—practically destroy Santa’s Workshop with their mischievous gamboling, they realize the best way to prove that they’re responsible enough to become Santa’s Helpers is to show how well they can spread the Christmas spirit all by themselves. With help from a magic crystal, they start granting everyone’s wishes. But their good intentions backfire when one unhappy boy asks that Christmas go away forever! With his wish impetuously fulfilled, and the joyous spirit quickly disappearing from the planet, Mrs. Claus and the pups have to find a way to reverse the spell—or risk losing Christmas forever!

Santa Paws 2 The Santa Pups Disney

Since we are big fans of the Buddies series, I knew K would love the movie, and I was right. The movie has everything you would expect with just the right amount of trouble along side Christmas spirit. Sure it also has the cheese factor in full force, but that’s what we love about the series.

I was excited to see the little girl from The Search for Santa Paws return in this movie – she is so stinking cute. Although it was a little strange that she played a totally different little girl with a different back story. Even K recognized her and asked where some of her friends from the old movie were. As cute as she is (and really, she is truly adorable) it was weird.

The movie was a hit in our house, and I predict that it will be watched many more times before Christmas. You don’t have to see the first movie in order to watch this movie, although you really shouldn’t miss it because it is really good. If you are looking for a little Christmas cheer, bring home Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups available on Blu-Ray/DVD combo or DVD.

Just watch this clip for some of the cuteness.

Make the movie magic last even longer with free downloadable activity sheets including a craft, word scramble, recipe and more.
