I don’t know about you, but I miss winter this year. Not that winter in Florida is expected to be very cold, but still. I don’t think we’ve dropped below freezing but once this year. So much for my new sweaters I got for Christmas, we are in shorts and t-shirts.

The Robb Report wants to know what you winter cocktail is, and since it is so warm I think a cool cocktail over ice sounds nice. Appealing to my sweet tooth, I am a sucker for chocolate cocktails. This recipe for a Chocolate Snowball sounds delish.

  • 2 oz coconut rum
  • 2 oz Irish cream
  • 1 oz hazelnut liqueur
  • 3 1/2 oz melted chocolate
  • 3 1/2 oz cream
  • 1 dash chocolate syrup

Preparation: Place the chocolate syrup around the glass then place the other ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain into glass.
