Betty Crocker Molasses Cookies Review ~ Giveaway
Betty Crocker I am not. But with the help of Betty Crocker, even I can whip up a tasty treat. Since K loves to help cook, I was thrilled to try out Betty Crocker’s newest cookie mix – molasses cookies.
Since I went past my due date, and was set to be induced, I decided that the day before my induction was the perfect day for baking. Not only would it be a good last minute mommy/daughter activity, plus I figured it would be a nice treat for the nurses at the hospital. After all, the nurses would be taking good care of me, might as well bring a thank you with me. So my little helper and I got ready to bake.

Perfect for fall, the molasses cookies were easy (even for me) and tasty. I decided to take Betty’s suggestion of adding a sugar topping to the cookies. Since we happened to have brown sugar on hand, I decided to do a brown sugar topping. Not only did it make the cookies even more yummy, my 3 year old loved dipping the dough in “sprinkles.” I highly suggest adding this small step.
Even with a 3 year old helper, the entire baking process was quick and painless, and the results delish! I split the results between a container for my nurses and some for my neighbor who always makes us treats. I was so proud of my cookies, and I even remembered to take them with me to the hospital. Best of all, the nurses loved them too!
Thanks to Betty Crocker for helping me to thank those who helped me delivery my little bundle of joy!
