5 Question Friday
Every Friday, Mama M. hosts 5 Question Friday, here are my answers to her 5 questions. If you are feeling motivated, leave a comment answering the 5 questions about yourself, I love to learn about my readers!
1. Did you have a favorite blanket or toy as a kid? If so, do you still have it?
I had a Smurf blanket I really liked, but I was never super attached to it. Actually, my sister “stole” my baby blanket from me when she was a baby and still has it to this day! She loves it more than I ever did, so I don’t mind, but it’s kind of funny!
K has “Pink Bear” that she is VERY attached to… just like her “A.”
2. Do you dream in color?
You mean some people don’t? Yes, super vivid dreams and nightmares. Sometimes when I wake up I have a hard time deciding if it was a dream or real. (Ask my hubby how often I have woken up mad at him for something he did in a dream!)
3. How tall are you? Do you wish you were shorter or taller?
5’6 1/2″ Notice the 1/2. I always wanted to be 5’7″, but I never got there. Shy by 1/2 an inch! Oh well
4. If you could have anyone’s (celeb or other) voice as the guide on your GPS, who would it be?
Voice on my GPS… Not sure. I kind of like the lady I have now, although every time she gives me directions my daughter says, “What’s dat?” EVERY time. So, if I need directions its a LONG ride of telling her that it is just the car giving me directions at EVERY turn!
5. Do you return your shopping cart to the corral or leave it wherever in the parking lot?
YES YES YES!!! RETURN THE CART!!! This is a HUGE pet-peeve of mine. Seriously, how long does it take? Be a good person and return it. I was once the “victim” of a rouge shopping cart in a parking lot during a storm. Someone’s laziness cost me $800+! Since I often have my daughter with me, sometimes I will even flag someone going into the store to take it with them. I also do the same for people who have their hands full. Come on people, clean up after yourselves… your mama taught you better.
Have a GREAT weekend!

Love this. How fun!
1. Yes. Beary. He is still on my shelf and traveled with me until my son was born.
2.Absolutely!
3. 5’4″ I wanted to “beat” my mom’s height and I did so that made me happy as a teenager. Then I wanted to be 5’7″ and would still love to but really, I am perfectly happy with my height and just incredibly grateful for my healthy body and the miracles it performs every day staying alive.
4. Franks or Corbins
5. Every time!
1. Yes I had a baby blankie that I loved. But when i was getting older (5-6) my mom threatened to throw it away because it was one of those blankets that I took everywhere and it was getting kinda gross I imagine. So to make sure I would always have a piece of my blanket I cut it into a bunch of pieces and hid them all over the house. My mom eventually found them all and threw them out but it took her almost a year to finally find and get rid of the last piece. Soooo, no I do not have it any longer.
2.Yes, Color and very vivid.
3.5’5 1/2″ . I am ok with my height. Maybe wish I was an inch or two taller but that is what high heels are for!
4. Hmmm. Not sure. Maybe someone British or Scottish just for the accent.
5.Uh-Oh. I do not always return the cart to the cart return. I do not like leaving my 5yr old in the car alone (he hops up in the car the second we get to it and buckles in) so if it is a good distance away I leave it. I know it is bad. I should try to be better.
