Groupon
A couple of months ago, dad told me about a new site – Groupon. I hadn’t heard about it yet so I checked it out, but it wasn’t available in Orlando yet. Good news, it is coming soon! (And depending on where you live, it may already be available.)
Here’s the scoop. Groupon is basically the collective (group) purchasing of products and services for a discount (coupon).
How It Works
- Each day we feature something cool to do at an unbeatable price.
- You only get it if enough people join that day… so invite your friends!
- Check back the next day for another awesome Groupon
Daily deals just in my area, I love it.
For example, you might see a deal for a restaurant or spa gift certificate for up to 90% off. If you love the deal, you just sign in and buy the gift certificate. If you don’t love the deal, check back the next day. But you have to act quick because there are only a limited number of offers available for each deal.
Since it isn’t in Orlando yet, sign up to be on the list to be notified when the deals start rolling in. (I’ll let you know when I get my first deal.) Sign up for Groupon here – it takes 2 seconds, just enter your email address and you are done.
300 Free Disney Movie Rewards Codes
Have you seen the new look over at Disney Movie Rewards? It looks so nice. I was also amazed to see one of the suggestions on my page. Did you know you can get a Princess Scooter (by Huffy) for only 1,700 points! That’s an awesome reward. We actually had my sister-in-law get this same scooter for K’s birthday. If only I noticed it sooner! At any rate, if you hadn’t decided what you should save your points for, I recomend this!
To get you 300 points closer, here are a bunch of free codes. (Note, I already had 1 of these codes in my account, but the rest were all new to me!)
GOOFY (50 pts)
PAPERS (50 pts)
CELEBRATE (50 pts)
GRAVEYARDS (40 pts)
GOBLOON (30 pts)
BUDDERBALL (25 pts)
TINA (20 pts)
SUPERBARK (15 pts)
JIMINY (10 pts)
LIGHT (10 pts)
As always if you still don’t have a Disney Movie Rewards account, email me so I can send you a link to sign up under me – hey, I might as well get points for referring you – jen at thesuburbanmom dot com!) And don’t forget to search my blog for other codes. (Hint, I think the code “i” is still working if you haven’t used it yet.)
Sorry, these codes are all expired. If you tried them and your account became blocked, read this to get your account unblocked.
$10 off $20 at Buca di Beppo Coupon
One of our favorite Italian restaurants, Buca di Beppo, currently has a $10 off $20 coupon valid through 12/31/2010. If you have never been to Buca di Beppo, you should definitely check them out. Great food, and a very child friendly atmosphere.
Get your coupon here.

Free Huggies Enjoy the Ride Rewards Points
According to some posts I have seen online, your best chance for winning a Huggies Enjoy the Ride Isntant win is early in the morning or late at night, when less people are playing. I don’t know if this is true or not, but both things I won were late night… Worth a shot.
Here are two new codes worth 5 points each:
- BFJCWFCCTFPPPGB
- BGGCLHNZGFZZPGB
Good luck!
